Dear Casey, cialis

San Gabriel MountainsSoon the Senate could vote on HR 4089.
Ask your Senator to vote “no” on this bill.

How would you feel if you ventured into wilderness and encountered the roar of motors? An anti-wilderness bill that recently passed the House and now heads to the Senate could make that nightmare a reality.

You can help stop this bill.

Wilderness is under siege.

A few weeks back, we shared the bad news that the so-called “Sportsmen’s Heritage Act” passed the House of Representatives. This bill, HR 4089, would open our beautiful wilderness areas to motor vehicles and development.

Meet HR 4089, a Trojan horse.

Since its passage in 1964, Congress has used the Wilderness Act to protect nearly 110 million acres of wilderness. Now, this single bill could unravel all those protections.

“Sportsmen’s Heritage Act” may not sound threatening, but it is. On the surface, the bill gives the impression that it would benefit hunters, anglers and outdoor recreationists by giving them easier access to wilderness. In reality, it would add loopholes in the Wilderness Act that could permit all-terrain vehicles, motor vehicles and motorboats in designated wilderness areas.

There is no nice way to put it — HR 4089 is bad news for wilderness. It will singlehandedly destroy protections we all have been working for decades to secure.

You can help

We can’t let Congress remove these wilderness protections and spoil the wild places we enjoy. Please help stop HR 4089 in its tracks — ask your Senator to oppose the Sportsmen’s Heritage Act today.
