Guest Column: A response to criticism of the movie “Vaxxed”

I must respond to the inaccurate opinion column written by Nicholas Seabrook about the movie, “Vaxxed: From Cover-up to Catastrophe.”

“Vaxxed” is not “anti-vaccine.”

It is about malfeasance at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Over 10,000 documents have been handed to U.S. Rep. Bill Posey who is also in the film. The movie is about a senior scientist and four others who were responsible for analyzing data in relation to the MMR vaccine and autism.

What they did was slice and dice the data to get rid of that effect (MMR causing autism). The movie recommended splitting up the MMR vaccine into single vaccines since studies did not show this effect. Does that sound anti-vaccine?

Andrew Wakefield never said in his article (later pulled from the Lancet ) that the MMR causes autism. The parents who brought their children to him told him that they started to have severe stomach issues after receiving the MMR shot.

Since it was a common denominator in all of the cases, all 12 clinicians in the paper agreed it could not be left out. It was Wakefield who was chosen to testify and thus was the “fall guy.”

The fraud accusations came from Big Pharma damage control. Wakefield’s co-author in the paper was exonerated but Wakefield’s insurance didn’t cover court costs. There was no fraud committed in the study.

Seabrook also mentions “pseudoscience.” Pseudoscience is injecting toxins into the body and expecting a healthy response. Vaccines are thought to be creating more auto-immune diseases. We are also seeing highly vaccinated populations getting the very diseases they were vaccinated for.

Our children are the sickest in the developed world, our SIDS rates the highest, while asthma, allergies, cancer and autism are all on the rise.

Pseudoscience is the growing CDC vaccination schedule having never been tested. It was just confirmed by the CDC that multiple injections may not be safe. They now admit the flu mist is ineffective and often harmful.
