“This new office building concept draws inspiration from the Mediterranean climate and local lifestyles so as to set the tone for a new quality of life at work. The office becomes a meeting place, a forum with a collegial atmosphere; it lends itself to more collaborative ways of working,” said Christian Tordo, President of the Éco-Vallée EPA board.

In addition to its health-conscious layout, the structure is extremely eco-friendly. It will be certified BREEAM Very Good within the “EcoCités” label, and, according to the architects, it will also “adhere to the environmental recommendations presented in the Reference Framework for the CRQE (environmental quality for development and construction) set out by the EPA.”

The 7,000 square meter building is part of the Nice Méridia Technopole development that will contain mainly office space, but will reserve 600 square meters for retail space on the ground floor. Although construction has not yet begun, the building is slated to open in 2018.
