Video: a look at Rick Mather Architects’ latest Passivhaus scheme
Watch this video of Rick Mather Architects’ recently completed this £12 million Passivhaus residential scheme in Camden, North London
The 6, capsule 350m² project includes 53 ‘stacked’ maisonette homes, help each with access through a front door off the street.
Arranged in two blocks the space in between the buildings incorporates private gardens and communal spaces.
The project draws on Camden Council’s long history of providing well-designed housing.
Associate architect at Rick Mather Tim Paul, said: ‘We studied some of the original 1970’s Camden council housing concepts. They are generously proportioned. Some had double height spaces and they all had external space as well.’
The video was shot by Stephenson/Bishop.
