Last Chance Today for State Legislature to Vote for 100% Renewable Electricity for California

Sep 14, 2017 by

SB 100 is California’s historic bill that would require the state to push up its goal of achieving 50% renewable electricity from 2030 to 2026 and to get 100% of its electricity from renewable sources like solar, wind, geothermal, and hydro by 2045.

SB 100 has cleared the state Senate and key committees in the Assembly, and now it is being held in the Energy Committee because of bad politics.

This is the LAST DAY for the Assembly to vote on the bill or it dies for the year. If you are in California, please call your Assemblymember AND the above list of Energy Committee members today and ask that they vote YES ON SB 100 NOW.

Please pass this on to anyone you know in or with influence in California.

Let’s do this together!
