VIDEO: LEAKED TPP TEXT REVEALS INCREASED CORPORATE CONTROL OVER PUBLIC HEALTH

WikiLeaks has published another portion of the text of the secret Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal. The text reveals that the TPP would give major pharmaceutical companies more power over public access to medicine, weaken public health care programs and prevent Congress from passing reforms to lower drug costs.

“Democracy Now!” speaks with Peter Maybarduk of Public Citizen and John Sifton of Human Rights Watch about their concerns over the text.
